Bangladesh, Bhutan premiers return home

KATHMANDU, NOV 28 - Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bhutanese PM Tshering have returned home after participating in the 18th Saarc summit in the Capital. PM Hasina boarded a regular flight of Bangla Air at 10:30 am while Tobgay flew in a Druk Air flight at 12:45 pm. Road traffic along the airport routes were halted during the VVIPs departure. With this, all the VVIPs who had arrived in the Capital to attend the regional summit have returned home. Indian PM Narendra Modi, Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani left for their respective countries in a special plane after attending a dinner banquet hosted by President Yadav on Thursday. Odd, even number plate system annulled The government on Friday afternoon annulled the odd-even vehicle number plate system in the Capital. The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) had enforced odd-even vehicle licence plate system to reduce possible traffic congestion in the Capital during the Saarc Summit. The system has been annulled as all the VVIPs of the Saarc summit have returned home, said MTPD Spokesperson SP Basanta Pant.according to ekantipur
